Monster Hunter Rise is quickly becoming one of our most anticipated Nintendo Switch games this year. Not only does the game have an actual release date, but it’s also coming relatively soon on March 26, 2021. Capcom is continuously rolling out new information too, showcasing the game and its feature set. Now, the developer is ready to show us more, with a Monster Hunter Rise Digital Event coming in just a few days.
The Monster Hunter Rise Digital Event takes place at 9 a.m. ET on Jan. 7. It’ll take shape as a livestream on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, bringing news on Rise and some brand new reveals. Nothing else has really been said about the nature of the content, but we’re expecting some juicy info.

After all, the demo is set to arrive this month on Switch too. In December at The Game Awards 2020, Nintendo and Capcom revealed that a limited-time demo was coming for January, featuring online play for Nintendo Switch Online members. As we’re now in the demo’s launch month, we could see a release date for it during the digital event.
Over the last few weeks, Capcom has released numerous videos showcasing the game’s monsters and weapons, and we’re expecting more of that come Jan. 7 at the Monster Hunter Rise Digital Event.
