Yesterday, Capcom dumped a bunch of Monster Hunter news. Monster Hunter Rise is getting a second demo, this time featuring a brutal battle against Magnamalo, later this week, and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin received a July release date on both Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, alongside a new trailer. But for insatiable amiibo collectors, the big news was obviously that three Monster Hunter Stories 2 amiibo are on the way to coincide with the launch of the game. Nintendo has subsequently revealed what those three Monster Hunter Stories 2 amiibo actually look like, in addition to announcing that they will be GameStop exclusives in the United States.

As we previously reported, these three amiibo are for Ena, Razewing Ratha, and Tsukino respectively, and each one will unlock a different special layered armor for use in the game. Details more specific than that are scarce right now.
Elsewhere in amiibo world, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury saw the release of Cat Mario and Cat Peach figures recently, and there are still gradually more figures in the works for each Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character, which most recently includes Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
What do you think of the look of the three Monster Hunter Stories 2 amiibo, and are you ready to hit up your local GameStop for them?
