More UK physical chart sales data has been released for the week ending July 10, and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has debuted in third place. Sony’s Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has jumped in sales following a price cut at various UK retailers, which is also complemented by the improvement of PlayStation 5 stock at various outlets. However, Nintendo Switch software is continuing to thrive, which at this point is unsurprising, as previous weeks have also been dominated by the hybrid platform.
Mario Golf: Super Rush has dropped from the number one spot down to fourth place, while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons continue to maintain their momentum. Notably, Monster Hunter Stories 2 hasn’t managed to match the success of Monster Hunter Rise, which launched back in March at first place on the UK charts, but the sales numbers are still impressive. Below is the GfK top 10 for last week, ending on July 10.
|Last Week||This Week||Title|
|6||1||Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart|
|New Entry||3||Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin|

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD launches later this week on July 16, so expect to see it take first place. Nintendo’s 2021 still has a lot of software on the horizon, with the likes of Shin Megami Tensei V, WarioWare: Get It Together!, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and much more!
