Capcom shared a new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin during its E3 2021 showcase, revealing that a demo is coming on June 25, 2021. Those who try out the Monster Hunter Stories 2 demo will get to carry over their save data to the full game.
Capcom has also revealed that the first free title update will arrive on July 15, 2021, a week after the game’s launch. The major update will add the Palamute introduced in Monster Hunter Rise as a new Monstie to Monster Hunter Stories 2. We’ll learn more about the update later.
We also got a look at the bonus content included with the Deluxe Edition. It comes with the base game, a “Kuan Coat” outfit for Ena, and “Razewing Armor Alpha/Razewing Armor Beta” Layered Armor for the player. It also includes two sticker sets, a “Spiky Nergal” hairstyle for the player, Pukei-Pukei and Nergigante costumes for Navirou.
All preorders of either version of the game come with the “Kamura Maiden” outfit for Ena.
Lastly, those with save data for Monster Hunter Rise will receive the “Kamura Garb” Layered Armor for the player by linking up the save data.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will launch for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on July 9, 2021, and the demo is coming in a couple weeks. Learn more about the game with a helpful fact sheet in our previous report.
