Rambo and Mortal Kombat seems like the perfect match, and developer NetherRealm Studios has now shown us exactly why. A new Rambo gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 showcases the character’s moves and general badass nature. Sylvester Stallone is here and well too, delivering the perfect Rambo voice lines.

The video clip gives us an idea of the variation of Rambo outfits available in Mortal Kombat 11. They’ve been meticulously recreated here, staying largely true to movie counterparts from First Blood and Rambo III. Rambo’s Fatality move is shown off too, as the trailer closes out. This one looks particularly gruesome, as Stallone rips out the throat of his enemy.

Speaking of gruesome, we recently reported that publisher Warner Bros. was initially skeptical about releasing the game on Switch. The publisher had thoughts about Nintendo’s family-friendly nature and whether the company would be happy with Mortal Kombat 11 on its platform. Thankfully, Nintendo has actively called for more mature games since Switch arrived, and it seems the days of censoring violence are over at Nintendo.

Rambo is part of Kombat Pack 2, a new character DLC that is part of the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. This new version of the game comes bundled with all previously released DLC too, hitting the eShop on Nov. 17. If you simply want Rambo and his brutal gameplay, Kombat Pack 2 will be available separately for $14.99.
