Mortal Kombat 11 can’t seem to keep the kat in the bag. Yesterday afternoon, three more characters off of the game’s roster may have been prematurely revealed. The leak originally appeared on Reddit as a screenshot, but was taken down almost as quickly as it went up. However, as it always seems to be, the internet was just a bit faster–before the leak was removed, Reset Era user NeoRaider grabbed the image, shown below.
Featured in this roster are new characters Mileena, Shang Tsung, and Shinnok. In the event that this leak accurately depicts the final roster, missing Mortal Kombat 11 hopefuls like Reptile may irk a few fans–not that DLC is an impossibility.
Reset Era users have pointed out that the image appears to be from an earlier build of the game sans customizations, with empty slots possibly telegraphing DLC characters.
Of course, no matter how convincing the image may be, a leak is a leak, and should be taken with a whole block of salt. We don’t need another Grinch fiasco, now do we?
The long-awaited Mortal Kombat 11 comes to Switch and other systems on April 23rd, 2019. As always, check back at Nintendo Enthusiast for all of your Mortal Kombat 11 needs as we approach release and the final roster’s true reveal.
