One of the most long-awaited features for the hit Nindie Stardew Valley is entering the final stretch of its arrival to the Switch: multiplayer.

Once the update finally hits, up to four farmers will be able to share the same game world and complete tasks alongside each other.

The developer ‘ConcernedApe’ has officially submitted the multiplayer update to Nintendo. This is the final step that it must take prior to release (all games have to do this when being updated). Once Nintendo gives it the green light, then it’ll finally be off to the races. That said, a proper release date has yet to be announced.
