MX vs ATV All Out slides onto Nintendo Switch this September

Today developer Rainbow Studios and publisher THQ Nordic announced that MX vs ATV All Out is coming to Nintendo Switch on Sept. 1. This game is one of the best, if not the best, when it comes to off-road racing games. The game combines Opencross, Supercross, Nationals, Freestyle, Waypoint competitions, and so much more all into one neat package that you can play on the go when it finally hits the Switch.

MX vs ATV All Out features an overhauled UI system that makes it far easier and more intuitive to play. Improvements extend to the game’s physics engine, which was reworked to allow for a more realistic experience. Rainbow Studios also states that its patented technologies have been taken to the next level in this game, with Rider-Reflex 2.0 and Real-Time Deformation 2.0.

The game’s stunt system can only be described as insane. With Freestyle mode in particular, it’s possible to pull off all kinds of stunts, safe in the knowledge that it’s only your in-game rider’s back that’s going to get broken.

Whilst the game features a huge number of tracks, among the biggest ever made by Rainbow Studios, it also has vast open-world environments for players to explore. When you’re not out riding around these worlds though, you can come back to your private compound, which is a hub for every vehicle you own and a place to customize everything possible about every ride.

Finally, the game includes some of the biggest names in off-road racing from around the globe in its roster. It also has an incredible soundtrack that should suit whatever you’re doing, whether that’s pulling off an insane stunt or winning a race by the skin of your teeth as you narrowly dodge a serious injury.

MX vs ATV All Out originally released in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Started out playing Metroid 2 on the GameBoy at around 5 years-old, and now I write about games all day long. Can't play Switch and drive, I've tried. As time goes on the Switch is quickly becoming my favourite console of all time.
