My Hero One’s Justice 2 trailer shows new characters and game modes

A new My Hero One’s Justice 2 trailer has been released by Bandai Namco. It shows off some of the game modes players will be working through, as well as more of the new characters joining the roster this time around.

New characters and game modes

Among the new characters joining My Hero One’s Justice 2 from this trailer are Camie Utsushimi, Gang Orca, Seiji Shishikura, Full Cowling 100% Izuku, and Overhaul Ver. 2. Each character will be available to join the player’s team of fighters as they work through the game’s story. In this base game mode, players will be able to play as both heroes and villains. This will give them the opportunity to play as whoever they want at various points throughout the game.

The trailer also shows off a mission mode. Here players can choose fighters from across their favorite cast of heroes and villains, combining them in any way they choose for their teams. Arcade is another familiar mode coming back from the previous game. Here, however, it offers players the chance to unlock unique dialogue for winning specific battles. Dedicated fans will need to fight and win every possible battle combination just to make sure they’ve heard all of those exchanges.

The key difference between My Hero One’s Justice 2 and the manga and TV show it’s inspired by is the ability that players have to combine fighters into teams. The game gives players the power to create unique scenarios, even if they’ve never happened in the original story.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 will launches for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on Mar. 12 in Japan. The rest of the world will get it the day after on Mar. 13.

Started out playing Metroid 2 on the GameBoy at around 5 years-old, and now I write about games all day long. Can't play Switch and drive, I've tried. As time goes on the Switch is quickly becoming my favourite console of all time.
