Just like the rest of us, it looks like Nintendo is ready to move on from 2020. The My Nintendo rewards program has introduced a new calendar for 2021, in Europe at least. This is a standard 12-month calendar for next year, and it contains some neat artwork from a bunch of Nintendo franchises.
There’s everything here from Mario and Yoshi to Pikmin and multiple Animal Crossing, Zelda, and Splatoon designs. Each month follows the same basic design style and layout, but it’s cool to see all of these big Nintendo series in one calendar. The rear of each month also contains some additional writing space. Now, we just need 2021 to arrive as quickly as possible.
At the moment, there’s no word on whether this 2021 calendar will come to the My Nintendo program in the U.S. We recently reported on some holiday-themed items coming to the region though, so there’s a chance this calendar might follow. We certainly hope so anyway, or even better, maybe there could be a range of calendars that each focus on a different series.
In Europe, the calendar will set you back 300 Platinum Points. It’s a reasonable cost for this reward, although there’s a separate shipping cost that sort of takes away from the idea of free rewards. The 2021 calendar from My Nintendo will be available for a limited time.
