My Nintendo app

Remember the My Nintendo loyalty program? Gamers who use the service can earn points for a rewards program that includes discounts on select Nintendo titles. Now, the website is going mobile with a new My Nintendo app, available on Android and Apple devices. However, the application is Japan-only, right now.

The My Nintendo app is adding some cool features

The app will allow users to receive news on upcoming Nintendo products, watch videos (including Nintendo Directs), buy Switch software, and view playtime records for any Switch, 3DS, and Wii U games they happen to own.

Also, any player who utilizes the My Nintendo app at Nintendo Tokyo can check-in using a QR code. This will mainly be used for any upcoming live events planned.

Unfortunately, there are no updates on when the system will become available outside Japan. I hope it will, though. It’ll be way easier to access codes for reserved appointments at trade shows with a program like this. Don’t leave the rest of the world without this technological marvel, Nintendo!

Enthusiasts, are you hoping the My Nintendo app makes its way to your area? Let us know what you think about its initial features in the comment section below.
