Following the recent Lego Super Mario mashup, it looks like more Nintendo goodness is to be recreated as Lego sets. This time around, an entire Lego NES system is apparently being teased by the company on social media. This teaser clip follows leaked images of the outer box posted online. Whilst the clip is intentionally tough to make out, the model CRT TV matches up perfectly with the leaked imagery.
The set will contain 2646 pieces, as shown on the box, making this one a substantial build. It’s also looking like it’ll make a substantial dent in your wallet. According to German website Promo Bricks, the set will release next month with a whopping €230 price tag. The German site also shows off some more intricate images of the Lego NES set, including some of the characters and pieces within. Nibel on Twitter has laid some of these out on social media:

The NES set apparently works in tandem with some existing Super Mario Lego sets. One image shows the Mario piece from the Adventures with Mario Starter Course being slotted into the top of the CRT TV from the NES set. It can reportedly play game music and sound effects while there.
Here’s the Lego teaser clip with the very same CRT TV.
