Gigantamax longcat Meowth fat pikachu

Pokémon Sword and Shield are just a month away now! Game Freak is still putting out new info to hype customers up, and today they dropped a new trailer. Our latest look is focused on the new Gigantamax game mechanic. This new feature will turn a Pokémon huge while giving them a new look, some stat boosts, and a new attack. Today we got a sneak peek at five more of these forms, including some exclusives. My personal favorites are the classic “fat Pikachu” look and a longcat version of Meowth. New Gigantamax forms revealed

Fat Pikachu, longcat Meowth, and more

The new Gigantamax forms revealed today include Pikachu, Eevee, Charizard, Butterfree, and Meowth. Pikachu is sporting his old-school fat Pikachu look, and it can paralyze opponents with its G-Max Volt attack. Meanwhile, Eevee infatuates Pokémon of the opposite gender with G-Max Cuddle. These two forms are exclusive to players with save data from Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee, respectively.

Not content with two Mega Evolutions, Charizard is also getting a new Gigantamax form. Its new attack, G-Max Wildfire, burns all opponents (except fire types) for four turns. Butterfree will also get a new form.  It comes with G-Max Befuddle, which can give a Pokémon poison, paralysis, or sleep conditions. Finally, a longcat-looking Meowth is available as an early buy bonus through January 15. Its new move, G-Max Gold Rush, confuses all opponents and scores you some in-game cash.
