Nintendo recently launched its second Switch SKU and it’s mostly the same as the original. However, the battery life was improved due to a more advanced CPU. Nintendo is launching the Switch Lite next month. Which begs the question of why the big N would re-release its older Switch model now?
The Switch Lite has a slightly better battery life the original Switch SKU, which could have worked as an incentive to get fans to purchase it. It seems like poor timing to offer an all-around better Switch model just ahead of the new Switch Lite.
