Another day passes, and so comes forth yet another system update for the Nintendo Switch. This new update bumps the firmware version of the Switch to 7.01. The console has been getting a steady stream of updates since it first launched, and while we’re still pretty early on in 2019, this is already the second firmware update so far.

As for the details surrounding this new update, truth be told it’s nothing much to get excited over. Aside from some bug fixes made to¬†Pokemon Let’s Go, this update merely serves as yet another generic “general system stability improvements” type of update. No wonder why the new firmware version is just 0.1 rather than a full jump to a 7.1. Regardless, you’ll need this update to do things like accessing the eShop, so skipping it isn’t much of an option.
