Nintendo has announced 2 new playable characters and more support Pokemon that are joining Pokken Tournament DX as paid DLC this year. During the January 11th Nintendo Direct, Nintendo featured the new content coming to Pokken Tournament.

There DLC will be released in 2 waves of paid DLC hitting Pokken Tournament in 2018 called the “Battle Pack”. Wave 1 will feature new playable character, “Aegislash”, as well as support characters Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu. Wave 2 will feature Blastoise, as a playable character, and Mew and Celebi as new support characters. The Battle Pack will also include new avatar items and more.

Wave 1 will be available on January 31st and Wave 2 will be available on March 23rd. The Battle Pack is available for purchase right now on the Nintendo eShop for $14.99 (USD). The Battle Pack includes both waves of content and, as of writing this, it does not look like you can purchase the waves separately.
