Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl announced

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl appears to finally have a concrete release date: according to the game’s eShop page, the game will be available to play on October 5, 2021. This is the first we have seen of any release date, even though the game itself has been generating plenty of headlines lately, most recently with the reveal that CatDog and April O’Neil will join the game as playable fighters.

On top of a release date, the eShop page points out a few other details about Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. According to the page, the game is set to feature twenty themed stages, including Jellyfish Field (from SpongeBob SquarePants, of course), the Technodrome (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and several more. If you’re looking to buy digitally, you’ll need 2.9 GB of free space to fit the game.

Now that we (likely) have a release date, it is just a matter of counting down the days until Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is in our hands. Normally, licensed Super Smash Bros.-style platform fighters are not the best, but something about Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has our hopes up. Assuming that the eShop page is accurate, we will be able to find out for ourselves whether those hopes were up too high on October 5.
