Nier: Automata

PlatinumGames Inc. is no stranger to the Nintendo Switch. From Bayonetta 1 and 2 to Astral Chain, the developer had made some solid action titles for the console/handheld. One game from the stylish devs missing on Switch is Nier: Automata, which has found success on other platforms. During a recent interview with Bunnygaming, the game’s director was asked about the possibility of a port.

Nier: Automata on the go? Yes, please, thank you

In case you forgot and need a visual reference, Nier: Automata‘s director is Yoko Taro:

Nier: Automata

Terrifying. Kudos to Bunnygaming for interviewing this being from outer space without pooping its pants.

One of the questions lobbed at Yoko was about Nier: Automata and if it will ever see a release on Switch. Yoko responded:

*While laughing* You already know the answer, it’s – “Please ask Square Enix!”

A simple solution to an easy problem. If fans want 2B on Nintendo’s latest, they have to go straight to the publisher of her adventure. Square Enix pays the bills, after all.

Enthusiasts of anime robot women and multiple playthroughs, would you pick up Nier: Automata on Switch if given the chance? Have you already played the game elsewhere? Let us know below!
