Ninjala open beta

After network issues kept many from enjoying the first Ninjala beta, developer GungHo Entertainment decided that another open test was necessary. Check out the times below, provided by the PlayNinjala Twitter account. The second round of beta testing went live in Japan yesterday and will be available in other regions today at 3:00 PM EDT. You’ll have ten hours to enjoy the game. That doesn’t seem like much, but it’s longer than the first beta (and hopefully won’t be effectively nullified by connection issues).

If you’re interested in trying out Ninjala, set yourself up ahead of time by downloading the Ninja Club app off of the Switch eShop. Otherwise, should you not have time to play today, you won’t have to wait too long: after sustaining a COVID-19 delay, Ninjala is set to release on June 24.

Will you be checking out the Ninjala beta? Did you get a chance to try out the first beta, or did you run into connection problems? If you’ve been able to play the game already, what did you think? Should we all be excited? I’m quite intrigued, personally. In my view, the game makes good use of a Splatoon 2 aesthetic, except with loads of bubble gum and hand-to-hand combat, and I can’t wait to give it a try.
