Nintendo Indie Showcase

Nintendo Switch has proven to be an outstanding platform for fans of indie games. Nintendo may be best known for AAA games like Mario and Zelda, but the hybrid console is also home to some absolute gems from smaller teams. That lineup is about to get even better, as Nintendo has just announced an Indie World showcase for tomorrow. For those who are unfamiliar, these presentations are similar to Nintendo Directs, but they focus exclusively on indie games.

Nintendo’s next Indie World showcase

The latest Indie World showcase kicks off tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Pacific / 1:00 p.m. Eastern. That’s 6:00 p.m for our readers in the UK. You can tune in right here at Nintendo Enthusiast, as we’ll be live streaming the whole event and covering any major announcements as they break. The presentation will last for approximately 20 minutes, and it will likely give us a glimpse into the lineup of indie games coming to Switch in 2020.

What games or developers do you hope to see featured? Silksong, a sequel to the massively successful Hollow Knight, still needs a release date. I’d also love to see a follow-up to the Switch-exclusive game Golf Story. If we’re really digging into hopes and dreams territory, I’d also love a glimpse at what Axiom Verge developer Tom Happ has been up to these past few years. And, of course, everyone wants to know what’s up with Deltarune. Tune in to the Indie World showcase tomorrow to catch all the excitement!
