There were recent possible leaks that pointed to Yoshi’s Crafted World being the actual name instead of just a working title. It was confirmed today that the game is indeed coming to the Nintendo Switch.

One feature that stood out during the reveal was the ability to rotate certain aspects of the level. You can also play it forward and backward. This is a feature that we’ve seen in previous titles, like the Super Paper Mario franchise. It allows for a lot of depth during individual levels, especially with the amount of exploration seen in previous Yoshi titles. The game will also feature local co-op play utilizing your Joy-Cons.

Here are few more key features of the game noted on the eShop page:

  • Join Yoshi in this new action platforming game
  • Each course offers both a main path and a hidden path that offers different views and surprises
  • The lively art style looks like a minature diorama
  • Enjoy simultaneous 2-player action

Yoshi’s Crafted World is currently being developed by Good-Feel and doesn’t currently have a firm release date. However, it was indicated that it would be in Spring 2019.  The Nintendo eShop page for the game is also now open.
