Ahh, it’s that time of year in video games. All of the Halloween content from spooky season gets slowly phased out, making way for some Holiday cheer. This year is no different of course, and one of Nintendo’s most updated titles is a mobile one. Mario Kart Tour gets its upcoming tour event early next month, and a Christmas tease has been posted on social media.
It may only be an image, but it’s a pretty telling one. The next event for Mario Kart Tour almost certainly contains a Christmas-themed track with a corresponding environment. This one looks like it has a ton of verticality, with multiple slopes and jumps containing rows of item boxes. It also runs through a cute Christmas village, filled with the typical trees, lights, and festive decorations.
The Mario vs. Luigi Tour is wrapping up in #MarioKartTour. It looks like the stage has been set for the next tour… Look out for an announcement in the coming days! pic.twitter.com/ymZuzev7jx

Now, this could be a remade track from a previous Mario Kart game. Mario Kart Tour has regularly brought back old courses, and there’s some suitable material to pull from. Mount Wario comes to mind from Mario Kart 8, but this image has a lot of additional festivities. I’m expecting it to be a brand new track then, made for this holiday season.
We don’t have long to wait before finding out. The next tour in Mario Kart Tour begins in early December.
