The upcoming Legend of Zelda game is going to be the star of Nintendo’s show at E3 this year. To boost the already high levels of hype surrounding the game’s upcoming reveal, Nintendo has released brand-new, super high quality artwork for the game. Check it out:

Zelda U-NX Artwork

There’s certainly quite a lot going on in this image. For starters, Link is rock climbing; not exactly something we’ve seen before in the series. Also, looks like Death Mountain is still very much active, as you can see the large plume of smoke emerging from its dome in the background. There a few more interesting tidbits too. Notice the snow area off to the left? This the first we’ve seen it in this game. There appears to be a building next to it; perhaps the Temple of Time? Speaking of buildings, is that a sealed-off Hyrule Castle in the background near Death Mountain? Look towards the bottom of the image, is this Lake Hylia with the Great Bridge of Hylia above it? Also, what’s up with these towers with blue writing all over the image?

Quite a number of things to take note of in the image! The new Zelda will be formally revealed in an extended demo which will be broadcasted via the Nintendo Treehouse livestream tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll get some answers to these mysterious tidbits!
