There have been numerous reports of a game-breaking Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bug caused by Piranha Plant. After staying silent, Nintendo has finally put out a statement regarding the issue.

We are aware that some users are posting about possible issues with the latest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update. After extensive testing, Nintendo has not been able to confirm that there is an issue, although we will continue to investigate and monitor the situation.”

There’s not much information with this statement. Hopefully, Nintendo can figure something out soon as losing your save file is never fun. Have you been affected by this bug?
