Nintendo of America recently announced its plans for PAX West 2019. This includes the list of games attendees will be able to play, as well as special activities Nintendo will host. All the big games, like Luigi’s Mansion 3, Link’s Awakening, and Dragon Quest XI S, will be there. Here is the full list of games players can try out at Nintendo’s PAX West 2019 booth:

  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
  • Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield
  • DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition
  • Minecraft Dungeons

Like at E3, players who wish to avoid long wait times can obtain a Warp Pipe Pass. These Warp Pipe Passes will give players quicker access to a few of the games at Nintendo’s booth. They only work for Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and Pokémon Sword and Shield. PAX West attendees can reserve a free Warp Pipe Pass beginning on Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. PT.

Attendees will have many excellent photo opportunities at Nintendo’s booth at PAX West 2019. The booth will include brilliant displays, like a Luigi statue and dioramas based on locations in Link’s Awakening. Nintendo will even have all three colors of Nintendo Switch Lite systems on display.

Nintendo’s other activities at PAX West 2019

Nintendo has promoted a handful of other fun activities that will be going on at PAX West 2019. Fans of The Legend of Zelda can participate in a scavenger hunt based on the upcoming Link’s Awakening. Attendees who complete it will have the opportunity to win a unique collection of Zelda-inspired pins. Collectors of Nintendo memorabilia can also get a Luigi’s Mansion 3 pin, but it’s limited to My Nintendo members.

Nintendo will set up its first “Galar Visitors Center” to commemorate the upcoming Pokémon titles at PAX West 2019. There, attendees can learn about Sword and Shield’s Galar region and obtain special Galar-themed collectibles. They can even take a picture for their own Galar region passport!

Attendees will also want to watch Square Enix’s “Dragon Quest Then & Now – Echoes Through the Ages” panel. This panel will be hosted by developers of Dragon Quest XI S. The developers will talk about staying true to Dragon Quest’s roots while appealing to newer audiences. PAX will livestream the panel on the PAX3 Twitch channel starting at 10:30 a.m. PT on Aug. 31. Later that day, fans will have the chance to meet and get autographs from the Dragon Quest developers.

PAX West 2019 will take place Aug. 30 – Sept. 2. Nintendo’s appearance at PAX West 2019 is slated to be a “veritable buffet” of classic Nintendo characters and games. Will you be in attendance? Are you looking forward to this event? Let us know in the comments or on our social media!
