Nintendo Showdown: A Link to the Past vs. Super Metroid

Super Nintendo masterpieces

Both of these games are shining examples of what made the Super Nintendo great. The original Zelda and Metroid games were revolutionary new experiences, but they were limited by the NES hardware. On SNES, Hyrule and Zebes were reborn bigger and better than before. Each game offered improved graphics, sound, and music, a bigger game world, more collectibles, and outstanding controls. They’re not just some of the best games on the console. They’re some of the best games of all time, and countless developers have been inspired by them over the years. Which one of these absolute masterpieces is the better game? Cast your vote and help us decide!
