Nintendo Switch family

The Nintendo Switch is huge, and its worldwide presence has only grown as of late. According to Media Create, the Nintendo Switch has outsold the base PS4, including the PS4 Slim, in Japan.

PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Slim: 6,540,000 units sold.

Switch: 6,670,000 units sold.

Just over six and a half million PS4 units have been sold in the region since it launched in 2013, but the Switch has topped that in under two years. Both have done impressively well in Japan, but it’s no debate regarding which brand is bigger in the country.

What do you make of these numbers? How many units will Nintendo have sold this time, next year? Speculate down below in the comments section!
