The Nintendo Switch has been performing well on the worldwide market since its launch back in March. Even so, one market where Nintendo has had trouble in over the decades is the United Kingdom. How is the Switch doing there so far?

According to a recent Tweet from Christopher Dring, it seems like the system is doing alright.

Dring is a publisher at GamesIndustry. According to his Tweet, the Switch has been selling at a higher rate than the Xbox One. That’s pretty impressive considering that the Xbox brand is stronger than Nintendo’s in the UK and also the Xbox One S is cheaper than the Switch. While Nintendo is above the ‘Green Team’, according to Dring the Switch has a lot of catching up to do to the PS4. He described sales as being “well behind” Sony’s platform at the current time.

Exact sales figures for each platform in the UK have yet to be released, but it will be interesting to see what the exact difference is between the platforms.
