No More Heroes 3 gets a JP trailer narrated by Japanese Travis Touchdown Kazuya Nakai

Marvelous has released a new trailer for No More Heroes 3 narrated by Travis Touchdown’s Japanese voice actor, Kazuya Nakai. If his voice sounds familiar, Kazuya Nakai is best known as the Japanese voice of Roronoa Zoro from One Piece. He also voices Toshiro Hijikata in Gintama and Date Masamune from the Sengoku Basara series.

The No More Heroes 3 trailer starts with a greeting to gamers from Travis, who introduces himself as a top 10 assassin, previously ranked #1 on a couple of occasions. The otaku assassin talks about the gameplay and the story of No More Heroes 3. This time around, the main bad guy is the #1 Galactic Superhero Ranked leader named FU (pronounced “Foo” and not the other one you’re thinking) of the Galactic Superhero Corps. It all started several years prior when a boy named Damon discovered an injured alien who went by FU and took care of him. He did so while hiding from the government and formed a bond with the alien while searching for a way to send him back home. Damon somehow gains alien powers and builds a spaceship for FU to return home.

However, things got a lot less innocent than E.T. about 20 years later, when Damon had become president of a huge urban redevelopment company called Utopinia. You guessed it — their happy reunion led to plans to take over the world. It will be up to Travis to save the world once again.
