No More Heroes review Nintendo Switch Marvelous XSeed Engine Software Grasshopper Manufacture

In an interview with IGN, Suda51 discussed his active hopes to one day see No More Heroes translated into a TV show or movie for a major streaming service. He also revealed that he has received such offers in the past, even moving into early planning stages with some of them, but that ultimately, none ever materialized. You can read his exact words below.

I’ve actually had a lot of offers and proposals for a No More Heroes movie or TV show over the years, and as of yet, not a single one has come to fruition. No wait – to be exact, one of them actually came really close, but ended up not working out. We had actually gone so far as to decide on the actor to play the main character, but it never made it into production. But anyway, we get proposals like that all the time, so one of these days I’m hoping that we’ll be able to make that dream a reality, and give everyone the No More Heroes movie or TV show that they want maybe on Amazon Prime or Netflix or something.

No More Heroes movie or TV show would be fun to see, especially in an age where plenty of video games are crossing over to TV and movies (like Detective Pikachu, Sonic the Hedgehog, and even indie properties like The Cuphead Show!). Would you be interested in watching? What actor would you like to see as Travis Touchdown? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
