No More Heroes

Yeah, quiet fall mornings are nice, but so are random shadowdrops – like No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2, two long-awaited, heavily requested Switch ports that just released on Switch after today’s surprise Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase. Head to an eShop near you to grab either game, currently priced at $18 apiece. If you’re too shocked to believe this news just yet, you can see the announcement in Nintendo’s timestamped video below (it comes right after the reveal of Control: Ultimate Edition for Switch, which, also, what?).

So, while we have to wait a bit longer for the third game in the series to come out, No More Heroes and its sequel are finally on Switch. With an announcement coming from so far out of left field, it almost seems too good to be true, but you can head to the eShop and the games there for yourself.

Have you already played the first two No More Heroes games? Will you be replaying them on Switch, or trying them out for the first time? Let us know in the comments below. I know these are “just” ports, but I have a feeling that this No More Heroes news is going to be the highlight of the presentation for many fervent fans.
