Jez San Argonaut Software Super Visor Nintendo doesn't hire many good programmers

After a long three months of waiting in the dark, we finally know when the next batch of SNES and NES games will make it to Nintendo Switch Online. While it is sad that the monthly updates dissipated as soon as SNES games arrived, getting high-quality drops like this will alleviate the bother–even if the service still is not even remotely close to what Virtual Console put out on day one of the Wii U. Which new game are you most excited to try out?

If you didn’t already know, the new NES games include Crystalis and Journey to Silius, while the SNES line-up adds Super Punch-Out!!, Kirby Super Star, Star Fox 2, and Breath of Fire 2. Quite a solid ensemble to choose from!

Personally, I am most excited to try out Star Fox 2, the legendary SNES game that’s only ever released outside of the SNES. I know it isn’t supposed to be that great, but I’m interested in uncovering one of the mysterious precedents to some of my favorite Star Fox games, 64 and Assault.

What are you raring to try? Are you happy with this update, or were you hoping for something else to join the fray (coughEarthBound…)? Sound off in the comments!
