Before Gamescom takes place in Cologne, Germany in August, news has broke in terms of Soedesco’s plans for it. The publisher behind Owlboy will reveal two brand-new games for Nintendo Switch. While the teaser for its show lineup has been released, it does not provide any hints about these new titles.

Nor does it say if certain titles will be getting physical releases. However, what is known in terms of its Switch games is Owlboy will be one of the games featured during its trip to Gamescom. While the game is, of course, not new it was released on the Switch in February of 2018. Prior to its arrival on the Nintendo console, the game was originally released in November 2013 on other consoles.

Nintendo will also be at the trade show which starts on August 21 (media day) and runs through August 25. The company will look to continue its E3 2018 strategy, putting emphasis on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the two Pokemon: Let’s Go titles which release in the coming months. Other games like Super Mario Party and a few others are also expected to be playable in Germany during the event.

Gamescom was started in 2009 and takes place every year at the Koelnmesse exhibition center, over 30 companies are expected to be there in August including CD Projekt and Google. The high number of attendees every year makes it the biggest trade show in Europe.
