Pac-Man 99 wagan land

Pac-Man 99 is still rolling with free DLC, this time adding a theme based on 1989 Famicom platformer Wagan Land. Fans can claim the free theme now.

Wagan Land is a fairly obscure pick for Pac-Man 99 representation. The game stars Wagan, a mascot who uses sound waves to stun his enemies. The platformer failed to make a lasting impression upon its initial release; in fact, despite coming out on Famicom and Game Gear, Wagan Land never launched outside of Japan.

Wagan Land joins a long line of free and paid DLC for the Pac-Man battle royale title. On top of DLC themes for well-known classics like Dig Dug and Galaga, Bandai Namco has made a point to spotlight plenty of more obscure or dormant titles in its catalog through Pac-Man 99 themes. The themes are a fun way to spice up your Pac-Man 99 experience with colorful homages to some arcade favorites.

In our review, we praised Pac-Man 99 as a unique, fascinating twist on the classic Pac-Man formula, awarding the game an 8 out of 10. Anybody with Nintendo Switch Online can play Pac-Man 99 and take advantage of fun, free themes like Wagan Land. If you have not yet tried it out, there is not much stopping you from doing so.
