You might not be the most excited person in the world at this news, but it could please your child, nephew or niece, or younger sibling. PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay has been announced by publisher Outright Games and developer Drakhar Studio for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, releasing physically and digitally on Nov. 6.
You’ll be able to play as Chase, Rubble, Marshall, Everest, Skye, Rocky, Zuma and Tracker in two-player co-op, and each dog (I assume they’re all dogs?) has a special power like Chase’s “Super Speed” and Skye’s “Whirlwind Power.” The game contains seven missions, plus seven minigames. Additionally, the game’s setting of Adventure Bay is described as “massive” and will include familiar locations like the Lookout and Jake’s Snowboarding Resort.
That’s pretty much all we know about PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay for now, but you can check out its announcement trailer. The actual genre of the game hasn’t been clarified, but it’s presumably an adventure platformer.
Previously, Outright Games released Paw Patrol: On a Roll! with developer Torus Games in 2018, which is Outright’s top seller to date. The publisher is also notably releasing Transformers: Battlegrounds this year on Nintendo Switch and other platforms. Meanwhile, Drakhar Studio is based in Madrid and is behind the adventure platformer title Ginger: Beyond the Crystal, which received reviews that were lukewarm in the best of cases.
