PDP is delivering yet another addition to its already long list of Switch accessories. The next release is called the Rock Candy Mini Wired Controller.

This Pro Controller alternative is officially licensed by Nintendo, though it features a design that looks extremely similar to that of the Xbox 360/Xbox One controller design. Really, the main difference is the extra buttons for the Switch (Capture, Home, Plus and Minus). Another unique feature of this controller is its transparent shell, which comes in a variety of colors (blue, red, yellow and purple).

As the name suggests, this is a wired controller, so you’ll need to keep it plugged into the Switch’s dock. For portable play, you can use a USB-C to USB-A adapter, though you’ll also have to elevate your Switch in order to access its bottom USB-C port.

The Rock Candy Mini Wired Controller for the Switch will launch on September 26, 2019 for just $20. That’s far less than a Pro Controller or pair of Joy-Con, so if you need an extra controller and are on a really tight budget, this should suffice. Though, there are no extra features like rumble, motion controls, and NFC. So, keep that in mind.

You can pre-order now from Amazon with these color options:

Blu-Merang (Blue)

Cosomoberry (Purple)

Pineapple Pop (Yellow)

Stormin Cherry (Red)
