Way back in April, Nintendo Switch owners were eagerly awaiting the announcement of a Persona 5 Switch port. However, when the time came, Atlus did not have any plans to port the game. Instead, a brand new Warriors-styled spinoff was announced called Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. Since the announcement, Atlus has been pretty silent about the game. But it looks like all that will change in two months, as we’ll be getting more Scramble news on October 24.
This announcement comes directly from a brand new teaser trailer for Persona 5 Scramble. It features a remixed version of Persona 5‘s battle theme, Last Surprise. The teaser also shows off all the stylish beauty that made Persona 5 so unique. Check it out!
It’s awesome to know we’ll be seeing more of Persona 5 Scramble soon. As for what will be shown, we’ll likely see some new characters, locations, and perhaps even a release date. However, there’s still no official word of an English release. Hopefully, Atlus will have some news for Western fans during this announcement as well. After all, every other Persona 3 and Persona 4 spinoff title saw release outside of Japan. It’d be strange for them not to do the same here.
What do you think we’ll see in October? Do you think the game will come to the West? When? Let us hear your thoughts in the comments below!
