Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers confirmed for Switch

At the Persona Super Live P-Sound Street 2019 concert in Japan that just concluded, developer Atlus finally announced Persona 5 S for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. It is actually called Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, and it is a freaking Warriors series game like Hyrule Warriors! Atlus is collaborating with Koei Tecmo, and the game is being produced by Omega Force! Can you believe it?!

Since I can’t read Japanese, this article will be updated throughout the morning as we receive more official information. Check out the teaser trailer below!

This probably isn’t the reveal that a lot of fans were hoping for. Most people were just hoping Persona 5 S was some sort of Switch-centric P5 port. Instead, it’s going to be another crazy beat ’em up. Personally, I don’t mind, and I’ll pretty much definitely buy this game. But to those of you who were really hoping to play this RPG for the first time: my deepest condolences, friends.
