People are getting really, really creative with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In addition to churning out bazillions of codes and QR codes for things like Star Wars and anime, people are tossing in a bit of video editing to make extra wild things. For instance, the “actual cannibal Shia LaBeouf” musical number was reenacted in the game. And now, Japanese Twitter account @KAITON_STUDIO has taken one of the most popular songs in Atlus’ Persona 5, “Life Will Change,” and recreated it with instruments in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Perhaps the coolest aspect of “Life Will Change” is how the entire opening of the Persona 5 song just feels like the fuse of a bomb getting shorter and shorter, ready to blow. And it turns out that New Horizons instruments are more than capable of delivering that same energy with just a bit of video editing to assist.
Unfortunately, clips like this could be the closest we get to seeing any such Atlus game on Nintendo Switch for a while. Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers still has not been confirmed for a western release, though it seems like all but a foregone conclusion. And it also seems increasingly likely the original Persona 5 will never touch down on a Nintendo platform.
