Persona 5 Strikers

Persona 5 Strikers will soon grace the Nintendo Switch on February 23, 2021. It’s been a while coming: the title launched in Japan on February 20, 2020, after all. Of course, there were reasons for the delay, chief among them being the pandemic. Due to this, the game suffered some drawbacks.

I’m glad we are even getting Persona 5 Strikers at all

During a hands-off preview with the webpage RPG Site, the general public learned some interesting tidbits. On the downside side of things, there are no plans to release a demo for the Musou-like title in the United States or Europe. A bummer, especially when you consider Japan got a demo via the eShop. I’m sure it will have action similar to Age of Calamity, though, so if you are a fan of that game’s gameplay, you’ll most likely enjoy Persona 5 Strikers.

With regards to the localization, the English voiceover had to be recorded remotely. Understandable due to this dumpster fire of a year. Dialogue is reported of superb quality, regardless. And if you aren’t feeling the dub after watching the English trailer, you can always switch the audio to Japanese. It’s great to have choices!
