The Pokémon Company has revealed a new line of Pokémon plushies that will soon hit store shelves. The new Sitting Cuties collection will feature all original 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region, obviously, in a sitting position. The plushies will feature weighted butts, as to not knock them over when they’re displayed, and will debut…sometime soon. No word on the official release date yet, but the Pokémon Company advises signing up for newsletters for an update.

The first wave of Sitting Cuties plush include the following 30 Pokémon:

  • Alakazam
  • Arcanine
  • Articuno
  • Diglett
  • Ditto
  • Dragonite
  • Drowzee
  • Eevee
  • Ekans
  • Exeggutor
  • Farfetch’d
  • Flareon
  • Geodude
  • Golduck
  • Jigglypuff
  • Jolteon
  • Kangaskhan
  • Machamp
  • Meowth
  • Mew
  • Moltres
  • Omanyte
  • Pikachu
  • Rattata
  • Sandshrew
  • Shellder
  • Staryu
  • Vaporeon
  • Voltorb
  • Zapdos

As if it weren’t already difficult hoarding Pokémon merchandise, the Pokémon Company website claims that a few of these Kanto Pokémon have actually never been released as plushies before. “Some of these Pokémon have rarely (if ever) been released in official plush form, giving fans a unique opportunity to collect some Pokémon that are new to the merchandise spotlight,” a blog post reads. “For example, when was the last time you saw a plush Staryu?”

The Sitting Cuties collection seems to be a U.S. version of the Pokémon Fit collection, which debuted in Japan back in July. A listing on the Pokémon Center website currently shows an unavailable Ditto plush, revealing its size as 3 and 1/4 inches tall. The Pokémon Fit collection was named after each plush doll’s micro size, as they’re each meant to fit in the palm of the owner’s hand.

Another reason to visit the Pokémon Center’s site is their latest Halloween collection, which features some favorite Pokémon dressed in costumes and available as plushies, pins and keychains. The company also recently debuted their latest clothing collection based on the Unown line of Pokémon.
