pokémon presents february 2021

So we got ourselves our first general Nintendo Direct in a long time last week. Next week, we can sit down to watch “Mr. Sakurai Presents Pyra/Mythra.” But, for this week—Pokémon Week, at that—what better way is there to celebrate the series’ silver anniversary on top of Saturday’s virtual concert? A Pokémon Presents showcase going live tomorrow morning, Friday, February 26, at 7am Pacific!

With Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield‘s Expansion Pass rollout out of the way, fans are already anticipating a reveal for the next mainline RPGs. While we hold out our usual hopes for Diamond and Pearl remakes, we can expect some news on already announced projects like New Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Unite. Plus, we’ve yet to know more about a new Detective Pikachu game for the Nintendo Switch, and that mobile title Pokémon Sleep; both games were first revealed in 2019.

Well, we’ll likely find out more on some of these projects come tomorrow morning, so set your alarms, trainers! What do you hope to see during tomorrow morning’s Pokémon Presents? Do you think Generation 4 will finally get its due for its 10th anniversary, or might we sooner see a new Pokémon: Let’s Go? Let us know in the comments.
