The Pokémon Company has announced that new details on the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass are set to drop tomorrow, meaning we are expecting news at last about The Crown Tundra. The developer made the announcement on Twitter, telling us to expect the news at 9 a.m. ET / 6 a.m. PT on Sept. 29.
Details are scarce to nonexistent. All we know is that Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass news is coming, and there is at least a decent chance that the second part of the expansion pass, The Crown Tundra, will receive a release date, among other details. Till now, it has had just a vague “fall 2020” release date. Meanwhile, The Isle of Armor delivered the first of the two main expansions back in June.
Get ready, Trainers: we’ve got updates on #PokemonSwordShieldEX!

A big expansion dropping this fall for Pokémon Sword and Shield will plug the gap if another game in the series doesn’t release this year, which seems likely as we’ve not heard about any upcoming console releases aside from New Pokémon Snap. When New Pokémon Snap was revealed this summer, we didn’t get much info on that one either.
Are you excited to finally get more Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass news, and are you expecting a release date for The Crown Tundra? Let us know, and stay tuned for tomorrow’s details.
