When it comes to partnerships, the one between The Pokémon Company and Fathom Events is still in its infancy. After releasing Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! in 2017, the two companies are bringing another film to select theaters for a limited release. On November 24, 26, and 28, and December 1, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us (aka Everyone’s Story) will follow Ash and Pikachu as they join other people and Pokémon in an attempt to save a seaside town facing numerous threats during a festival celebrating the legendary Pokémon Lugia.

“Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us gives fans and families an opportunity to come together in witnessing new plotlines, characters, and settings unfold in the Pokémon world,” said J.C. Smith, senior director of consumer marketing at The Pokémon Company International.

When it comes to the movie’s theatrical release, fans can visit the Fathom Events website for updates and more details. There are over 20 Pokémon movies to date. Staring, of course, 20 years ago with the release of Pokémon: The First Movie. The movie train does not seem to be losing any steam, as Detective Pikachu will receive a wide release in May of 2019 from Universal.
