Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Season Pass 2 gets more Time Force

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid has proven itself a worthwhile fighting game experience, especially with the steady stream of DLC that is making it feel more like an actually complete game. Following up on Season Pass 1 — which gave us Trey of Triforia, Jen Scotts, and Lord Zedd — developer nWay has revealed Season Pass 2, launching Sept. 27 on Switch for $14.99. This time around, Battle for the Grid receives Anubis “Doggie” Cruger (Shadow Ranger from Power Rangers S.P.D.), Eric Meyers (Quantum Ranger from Power Rangers Time Force), and Dai Shi (from Power Rangers Jungle Fury).

Additionally, the new arena Space Patrol Delta Base and the new ultra Delta Squad Megazord will be available for free. New unlockable banner art for characters will be available as well. And for $1.99, you can get an original White Ranger skin for Tommy Oliver, including Saba.

Power Rangers Time Force was my favorite series aside from In Space, thanks to its decently believable romance and characters that actually had some emotional depth to them. So I’m always happy to see more representation from that series in Battle for the Grid. Regrettably, I never got around to watching S.P.D., though I hear it was awesome and I’m sure Doggie is a worthwhile inclusion. And Dai Shi… well, I honestly know zippo about that dude.

Stay tuned for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Season Pass 2 to begin this Friday.
