There had been rumblings that this would happen for a while, and now it’s officially yours to take. Puma and Sega have partnered up for new shoes with Sonic the Hedgehog branding, being the Puma x Sonic RS-X³ shoes, available in men’s ($120) and junior ($95) sizes. Accompanying this are a Sonic-branded T-shirt ($35) and hoodie ($70). There are also currently sold out beanies and a crossbody bag.

As I’ve made clear before, I don’t know fashion, and the only thing I know about shoes (maybe) is that the white ones usually aren’t fashionable. These Puma X Sonic RS-X³ shoes, however, are black with red and blue trim, and they’re branded with Sonic heads all over the place. I assume that means that they’re extremely fashionable. The price tag Puma has put on them sure wants you to believe that anyway. Have a look.
My favorite part of these Puma x Sonic RS-X³ shoes is definitely the soles. The zigzag red and blue are just funky and fun to look at, and they would probably create a colorful blurring effect as you race off into the distance at the speed of sound.
What do the more fashion-enlightened among you think of the Puma x Sonic RS-X³ shoes? Do Puma, Sega, and Sonic the Hedgehog have another winner on their hands?
