Well, that was sooner than expected. Just yesterday, we ran a rumor about a sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It looks like PracticalBrush12 was right, down to the exact title of the game. Nintendo’s own website has revealed Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. It’s quite curious to witness, seeing as how Ubisoft’s E3 2021 conference is happening later today.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope continues the proud history of E3 leaks
Here’s a brief description of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, straight from Nintendo’s webpage:
Team up with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, and their friends on a galactic journey to defeat a malevolent entity and save your Spark companions. Explore planets throughout the galaxy as you uncover mysterious secrets and compelling quests!
Build your dream team with three heroes from an eclectic roster of nine.
Take down all new bosses, along with some familiar enemies throughout the galaxy.
Rescue the adorable Sparks throughout the galaxy, who provide distinct powers that will help you in battle.
Unleash your heroes’ skills but be strategic as you dash your enemies, team jump on your allies, and hide behind covers.
It sounds like a continuation of what made the original so great. Also, the picture of the Rabbid Luma is an affront to God.
Not much is known about Ubisoft’s and Nintendo’s next collaboration outside of the news it is coming in 2022. However, I’m almost positive Ubisoft itself will reveal more details at its conference at 3 p.m. ET/noon PT.
