Sometimes, a rumor turns out to be 100 percent true. A few months ago, it was reported that The Witcher III and Assassin’s Creed III were listed for Nintendo Switch by a retailer in France. Assassin’s Creed III was just officially unveiled for the hybrid console during this month’s Nintendo Direct. Could The Witcher III be far behind? Curiously, a job listing might have reconfirmed that Geralt’s adventure is coming to Nintendo’s latest.
The internet is quite inquisitive
A YouTuber that goes by the handle Doctre81 found the following job listing online:
GOG Galaxy is not CD Projekt Red, who develop The Witcher series. However, CD owns GOG, so this listing could very well be legit.
The thought of having Wild Hunt on the go makes me quite jubilant. On the other hand, Wild Hunt is quite taxing on the base PS4 and Xbox One. The Switch is underpowered compared to those two consoles, so I worry about the performance. Having sub-30 FPS would make Geralt’s outing nigh impossible to play.
Would any of you gamers play The Witcher III on Switch? Are you worried about performance issues after seeing Assassin’s Creed III gameplay chugging along during the Direct stream? Does this mean Geralt could be a guest character in Smash? Give us your best-educated guesses in the comment field below.
