Nintendo Switch Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth console release date December 16, 2021 PS4 PS5 Xbox One Series X Playism WSS Playground Team Ladybug PlayStation

Playism, WSS Playground, and Team Ladybug have announced a console release date for slick Metroidvania Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth, which will come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on December 16, 2021. The title was originally released in early access on PC last year and launched in full on PC this past March. Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth will receive a physical release on Switch and PlayStation in Japan, and via Gematsu, the game will have language options for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified and Traditional, and Korean.

Novelist Ryo Mizuno, who created the popular and enduring Record of Lodoss War franchise, supervised the creation of the game, which depicts “the previously unknown story of Deedlit and the events leading up to Record of Lodoss War: Diadem of the Covenant.” Gameplay-wise, you’re using equippable swords and bow and arrow and employing elemental spirits to modify your attributes. Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth has a really pronounced Castlevania: Symphony of the Night influence, including in its fluid and beautiful animation, so Metroidvania enthusiasts will have something else to look forward to on Nintendo Switch after they finish playing the awesome Castlevania Advance Collection.
