Remothered: Broken Porcelain delay October 20 release date Darril Arts Stormind Games Modus Games Nintendo Switch

Are you looking forward to playing Darril Arts and Stormind Games’ Remothered: Broken Porcelain? Well, good news — you get to keep looking forward to it even longer. Publisher Modus Games has announced the title has been delayed from Aug. 25 to Oct. 20, which at least relocates this horror game to the spookiest month of the year.

Modus explained: “We are incredibly excited to invite you into this wonderfully realized chapter of the Remothered story, but it’s important that we deliver the experience you deserve. Having additional time for polish and to accommodate unanticipated longer timeframes due to the current global situation will help us do exactly that.” It is however thankful for the “patience and enthusiasm” of fans at this time.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain will have a “thrilling psychological plot” intended to satisfy both newcomers and those who played the previous entry. You’ll be practicing stealth around the Ashmann Inn and looking for items in the environment that can help you survive. Basically, it sounds like if you’ve played a horror game in the past decade, you know what you’re getting into. But it’s good that the developers and publisher have the quality of the final product in mind here.

What other of the myriad horror games on Nintendo Switch will you be playing while you wait for Remothered: Broken Porcelain?
